MARY JANE CLARKE It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our loving mother and grandmother Mary Clarke on March 21, 2001 at the Deer Lodge Centre. Mary leaves behind her daughters Pat, (Kent) Baker, Colleen (Bill) Elder and her five grandchildren, Heather, Evan and Kerry Baker, Dave and Craig Elder. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug and Arlene Stewart and Don and Kathy Stewart. She is predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Charlie Clarke in February 2001 and by her parents, Robert and Frances Stewart. She will be missed by her many friends and by her cribbage playing friends of 4E at Deer Lodge Centre. Mary was born in Winnipeg. After marrying Charlie they moved to St. Vital and lived there until her move to Deer Lodge Centre in December of 1999. She spent many happy years in the Whiteshell at various lakes, especially at the family cottage at White Lake. The family wishes to express their heartfelt appreciation to the staff of 4E at the Deer Lodge Centre. Following cremation, a private family service will be held at the Deer Lodge Centre Chapel on Friday, March 23, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
